TMobile wifi gateway - Chromecast doesn't work and there is no fix?

My chromecast devices are not connecting to the T-Mobile Wifi gateway 5g during setup. I’ve tried resetting, resetting and they’re not letting my devices set up on my tv. My casting options will not pop up either. I can’t set up my devices or cast to my tvs. I’ve seen other issues similar but cannot figure it out. Can someone help me with this??

Hi asim3,

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us — I appreciate it! To cover all the bases, could you tell us the type of Chromecast devices that you have? What exact message are you getting? Please try the additional steps below:

  1. Reboot your Chromecast and plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV.
  2. Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  3. Reboot your mobile phone.
  4. Try to set up the Chromecast using a mobile hotspot. This is to isolate the issue.
  5. Use a different mobile device if one is available.
  6. Perform another factory reset on your Chromecast.

Regards,

Jennifer
