How to set up Chromecast without remote on iPhone

Hi, I have an iPhone, wanting to set up A NEW wifi for my chromecast. I don’t have the remote control. 

Based on previous feedback, I did a factory reset in order to set it up again and select the new wifi details. 

However the TV instructions require the remote control. The help centres give me instructions for using a phone instead - but only android. There are no instructions for using an iPhone. 

Anyone know how I set up a new chromecast without the remote control on an iPhone?

Hey there Shell2363,

Welcome to the Chromecast Community Forum! While you are able to control your Chromecast with Google TV using the virtual remote, you do need a Chromecast Voice Remote to initially set up the Chromecast device. If you don't have a Chromecast Voice Remote anymore, here is where you can purchase another one.
