Talk back disabled but still running on Netflix

I disabled the talk back options in my Chromecast system but still enable when I start the netflix app. How to turn it off on the Netflix app? It's so annoying

Hi HaeL18,

 

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about that. 

 

Is this only happening with the Netflix app or across all apps? What type of Chromecast device do you have? If you have a Chromecast with Google TV (4K or HD), please clear the cache and data of the Netflix app then reinstall it. Rebooting your Chromecast might also help.

Thanks for the response but still it doesn't resolve the problem...also same problem with YouTube app.

Thanks for coming back to us. Could you tell us what type of Chromecast device you have? Let go ahead and factory reset your device to clear all the settings. Please visit this link to check which device you have and how to reset it.

Thanks for the help. I factory reset the device and so far the problem doesn't comeback 😊

Also, I tried rebooting the chromecast, the talkback will be gone but the next day the problem returns..
