Unable to delete excess apks on Google Chromcast 4K

Hi all, I would like to know if there is a File Manager app for Google Chromecast that enables you to view and delete excess apk files? I have a couple of side-loaded apps on my Chromecast and each time these apps do an update, the previous apk files are left on the Chromecast. I tried to load a couple of file manager apps onto my Chromecast but only one of them showed the excess apk I need to delete, however that app had no facility to select and delete the files. If community members/users can't help I'm hoping an Expert from Google has a solution.

You can install any file manager that is available on the Google Play Store.

I personally love Solid Explorer on my phone for complex file stuff, it is a great application.

It can be installed on any AndroidTV device to clean up APKs if you're doing that.
