Vertical lines on screen after plugging in Chromecast 4

I've started experiencing vertical lines on half of TV screen after switching on Chromecast 4 

I tried to restart TV, disconnect power cable, disconnect the chromecast and it helped but it appears more often and last time when wanted to use it all the options helping earlier didn't work

How to fix this problem?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device are you using? Is this happening when casting? Or when streaming directly from the installed app in Google TV (for versions with Google TV)? When did it start? Is this only happening in one app or across all apps? Does it even happen on the home screen?

 

Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

 

  • Plug your Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.
  • Reboot your Chromecast and Wi-Fi router.
  • You can also try a factory reset, then re-setup.
  • You can also try another TV to isolate it.
