Hi, I have the latest chromecast (the one with the remote) connected to a computer screen and an old chromecast audio connected to a sound system. I would like to configure the whole thing to watch Netflix/Primevideo on the computer screen and hear the sound on my sound system. I have tried to set it up in Google Home but didn’t really manage. Any advice?
You need to connect your Chromecast with Google TV to an audio extractor device HDMI-in port. Then audio extractor device to sound system with Toslink cable or line-RCA + Audio extractor HDMI-out to display. Some displays have a 1/8" audio line out to attach external amplified speakers or sound system thus don't need an separate audio extrator device.
