Clearly this is more than one or two faulty smoke detectors. Would love

Same issue - worked fine for years. Now says the batteries need changing
after a month. Tested with a battery voltage meter and the batteries are
still good! What the heck?! I expect better for what these detectors
cost. Feels like a software update ...
