I had to spin up an android VM, load that old version of the google home
app and then I saw all these phantom groups and was able to delete them
as described in the Reddit post. Not sure if they made any changes to
correct this issue in the latest ed...
I see that this is a long standing issue but I can’t understand why.
This is a major functional problem. I expected much better from a home
tech giant like google.
