I finally discovered that turning off beamforming in the meshrouter
works. 1st gen can work with this setting, 2nd gen can't.So there is
still an issue with the devices, but i managed to find a Workaround
For factory reset, turn off the mic. Then press your finger against the
speakere and wait. It will factory reset. There is indeed no visible

There is a huge problem with the 2nd gen minisGoogle is not willing to
fix it, they keep on blaming it on external factors. This is not true as
the 1st gen works flawlessly. So either there is a hw problem or sw
problem it is as simple as that.
I have the same issue and still google keeps bul**bleep**ting around.
The mini 1 is fine. The 2nd one with the whole in the back for
wallmounting is **bleep** and google refuses a solution.
