Wow, this is **bleep**ed up. I'm going to have to manually and
individually adjust the volume of 8 speakers in 6 rooms of my house?

Same exact issue with a Home Mini that was part of a speaker group.
Removed it from the group, from the room, rebooted, forced app closed
and cleared cache, performed factory reset, and cleared cache again.
