Mine probably started 5 or 6 weeks ago.I have done a factory reset - did
not resolve the issue.The black column obscures the reading of the full
version numbers - the left part is covered up. What I can read is
.........Ware Version5.3.412086197... F...
Same issue here - it started maybe 2 weeks ago on my Nest Hub V1 - the
left part of the screen is obscured by a vertical black band (almost
like the horizontal hold has failed on an old analogue CRT/TV) ....
