Same here, I have two Chromecasts and the older one just quit and won't let me reinstall.

I'm guessing they just stopped allowing us to use an older Gen Chromecast or something, but one of my two Chromecasts just quit and I tried reinstall and I'm getting "we can't authenticate"... Contact Google support type message.

No solution for this still?? It's been months people have posted this complaint
