The problem was episodic but in the last two calls to my elderly mum the
screen did not go dark. Although the volume at her end seems to be very
low. I will check that she hasn’t accidentally turned it down.
A solution would be welcomed. My mum is in a nursing home and
occasionally can’t have visitors due to COVID. Being able to see and
