That's actually an important point that CC Advanced Audio Settings does
not even detect Dolby Digital as a supported format in the connected
device (when patently it is) so why Google insists we contact Netflix
support instead is beyond me....
It's NOT isolated to just Netflix - also Amazon Prime and Paramount
Plus. And other contributors provided other apps as well. You're simply
not downmixing Plus to 5.1. That's for YOU to fix, not Netflix... I
don't believe Google's the least bit inter...
Just to make clear, as the thread title states this should not be viewed
as a Netflix-specific issue. I find other apps such as Amazon Prime &
Paramount+ also fail to output D5.1 on the Chromecast platform. Others
