I should add to the above, after reading other threads which wonder if
wired backhaul is a factor, that my later model hardware came with
points that do not support wired backhaul. So I am seeing the issue and
it is not possibly related to wired back...

Interesting point (pardon the pun). In my case, the unnamed devices pop
up in pairs, about once a month, and I have two Google Nest WiFi
points... Possibly, it is the points that are in play here.Also, as
