Our Nest problem has been fixed. Every day for few days, in Dallas high
temperature, the A/C shuts off around noon and automatically comes back
on in the evening after 7pm or so. I really thought it was the Nest
Thermostat causing the issues as I saw...
Our A/C went out again today about the same time as yesterday. Now we
are waiting to see if it returns to normal at the same time as
yesterday…. We have 2 separate A/C units. The other unit has absolutely
no problems at all.

i have the same issue- wall unit is online, but the iphone app shows
offline. The unit is hard wired with house electricity and no power
issues. May be Google is trying to sell more newer nests to frustrated
customers! Just frustrated!
