Google Nest Community

I solved this by sideloading an older version of Google Home (I went back a few versions to google-home-2-40-1-10-apk), doing the rename, and then updating Home to the current version.

Same problem here. Tried all of the above. Nothing works. Please file a bug report with the developers.
