all permissions are on and there's no power saving mode activated

I don't have another android device on which to try. I'll have to wait for someone to come over who has one.Restarting makes no difference.

I'm having the same issue. I can cast with individual apps and I can see my Google TV in the Google home app but when I try to mirror it just never does anything. I have a mi 9t pro. Android 11.Sony x85j TV
