Best solution for now is Factory reset your device and repair the Bluetooth. GOOGLE needs to fix this!!!

Yeah I almost returned it but telling google to Clear Paired Devices, delete from my device and repairing seems to fix it but takes a few minutes. They need to fix this properly though.Hasn't been bugged too much now so it's fine

I just bought a new Google Nest speaker and I am having this same problem
