Try another device to setup, i have found in the past that it can be an issue with iOS or android and the nest/home app.

I've found that there can be setup issues depending on the actual device you are setting it up with. Switching from android to an iOS device or another android device has worked for me in the past. the doorbell being one of them.

It looks like it would be but you need to identify which wire is which. Sometimes there can be indications/labels on the PCB which will tell you. Otherwise, see what the wires connect to at the other end. the PCB labels may be there, or google search...

Same issue for me too. I enter the QR code manually or scan and it just flicks me back to the home page with the device list. Setup wont continue and factory reset wont work either.
