Hi, thanks for the reply. It turns out that I couldn't make the change on my Pixel phone, but i borrowed my wife's iPhone and it renamed with no issue. Embarrassing? Yes. Ironic? Also, yes. But it is fixed now.

I currently have the same issue. The instructions you gave did not resolve it. Are there any other workarounds?
