I completely agree. Google and Nest had made this sign in process so
confusing it could not be more frustrating. Once I am sent a code to my
phone and I include it the code box provided, I expect I have completed

What if you don't remember which email is associated with the account?
How do you reset that? If you use the wrong one, the password reset
doesn't work.
