people. What is the root cause of this issue? Why does a Nest Hub device

My guess is one interface is set to auto-negotiate and the other is not.
The fact that its possible to see the full 1GB speed for a limited time
makes it feel like the interface connect at top speed, go through
negotiation and since they are not set ...
I had same issue with my ATT Fiber connection. Was using passthrough
option off ATT gateway so I did not have to use ATT wifi. Connected my
Nest Google wifi directly to ATT gateway, would get 1 gig for first hour
or so and then it would throttle conn...
