GUYS I CALLED GOOGLE... And all I needed to do was try setting it up with a different device. Problem = solved!

Why u doing us dirty Google everything worked fine until I took my Chromecast to a friend's place and when I brought it home it wouldn't connect again my 5ghz band won't let me change the channel to anything other than 'auto' what do I do???
