My 2nd Gen Learning most always cool to 1 degree below setting, or 1/2
degree, and does not engage again until 1 degree warmer, maybe 1-1/2
degree warmer.This range is likely affecting the bill little. Temps are
higher these days.

Agree. My 2nd Gen Learning says it’s never been updated, and generally
works well, until recently when it insert temp setting into my schedule.
Never happened before.
