I noticed that.. ugh I'm almost giving up lol.. the packaging says Google assistant compatible or I never would've bought it.. who knows. Thanks for looking that up!

The distance between everything is all just a few feet. Everything is in the same room, actually. I tried rebooting everything.. same results.

It times out after about a minute and goes back to the home screen
