In the nest app there is a home assist and there’s an option to have the thermostat detect if people are home. Maybe try turning that off.

My 1st gen had a schedule that I changed in the nest app. Each day can be scheduled or just hold the day and copy and paste it to the others. At the bottom I hit “copy week” and it fixed my issue. Hope it helps.

I saw a diagram in the nest app under “Thermostat” scroll down to “equipment” and at the top was “wiring” that showed the 6 connectors and labeled them (cool) (power) (heat) etc. i hope it’ll help.
