You have a shortes back plate that need to be exchanged for a new one. That was the issue with mine, fixed the problem immediately upon replacement.

Just exchanged the thermostat for a new one, and CHANGED the back plate (where the wires connect too) solved the problem. My guess is that if you accidentally busted the fuse or had any arc during the install it may have broken the thermostat backpla...
