I’d be willing to bet the same sort device from any other digital doorbell would work. It’s just controlling the very small amount of voltage that leaks through the doorbell to the chime.

Same issue with me - need to replace a chime connector. Previous support threads suggested Google was helping with this in some way, so let's hope someone chimes in (LOL) here.
