Jake, thanks for checking in. Here's a recap of the past few days:-
Monitor battery level of my thermostat- Reviewed/verified the wiring of
the Power Connector.- Took volt readings from a combination of terminal
combinations. Sad part is I don't know...
I re-read the above and noticed that the "Power Connector" menu is noted
ONLY for the Nest Thermostat, not for the E or Learning models. I don't
get any wiring or power errors, but my battery dropped below minimum
after installing the Power Connector...

any documentation online that answers this question. Do you have any
contacts at Google or anyone on this foru...
This question seems to have gone unanswered for over a year and appears
on many threads. How can we get an answer? Does the Power Connector
provide some sort of visible indication (like a light) that it is
functioning?
