I have an 18 year old GE thermostat with a brown, red, black, and white
wire. They are not labeled and I don’t see how they line up with the
Google Nest thermostat. Can you help identify these so that I can
replace it with the Nest? Thank you.
Thank you all. I have not pulled off the back plate yet to look at the
wires. I’ll do that this weekend and let y’all know if I have any

It is heat and AC. It is a 4T unit with a dual damper. There is another
thermostat just like this upstairs. I’ll send a picture of the wires
behind the plate. Thank you for your help!
