I think I figured something out. I was signed in on an alternate Gmail account on one of my devices (my iPad) and signed in on the normal Google account on my phone. That evidently made some type of conflict, and when I signed out of the Gmail accoun...

I have the same recent issue. Call, two beeps, nothing. It's not a contacts issue, since it doesn't work the number either
