Hi, thanks for checking up on this. I gave up on trying and the next day
it appeared in home on it's own. No idea how our why but I won't
complain! Works fine now. Maybe it takes time for the accounts to sync.
Nice one, congrats! I tried that on mine, but no dice. Same thing
happens. If I scan the barcode from home app it says no configuration
exists for the device. Nest app connects just fine but then no google
home app.
I've been trying to do the same. Brand new thermostat works fine on Nest
app. Won't connect to Google home because it wants to link Nest account
to Google and the authentication doesn't work. My nest account is new so
it's basically already a Google ...
