New update available. STTE.220920.016.H1I updated yesterday, I don't know what difference it made. Perhaps it will solve the ethernet problems that some still have.

Hello Pingwin,I think you are right. I have the 4K Chromecast (Model GZRNL) and I updated to STTE.220920.015.A1.9261725 at the end of November. According to the link that Jeran gave the Chromecast 4K is still on the old firmware. Very odd!Regards,**b...

Installed the latest update five days ago, since then ethernet has remained connected. Looks like the problem has been solved.
