Yes, this issue seems to be isolated to Gaana. I’ve checked Apple Music,
Spotify and YouTube music. They are working fine. Only Gaana doesn’t
work. It doesn’t play any music even if commanded by Google assistant
via phone.
I have tried every step. Nothing works. My suspicion is Gaana ended
integration with Google to save some money. Every other music streaming
service works perfectly fine with Google nest devices
But Apple Music and Spotify is still working smoothly on Google nest
devices. Only Gaana is not working. And this problem began the day Gaana
ditched free streaming to avoid shutdown.
I am facing the exact same issue on my Nest audio and Nest mini. Looks
like Gaana has ended support for Google assistant integration. Can’t
blame them, the company is almost bankrupt. It’s most certainly an
economic decision from Gaana to not pay Goo...
