Tried updated Chromecast (GCGTV) but same error, although it did connect once at 720p. I could tell the projector was retrying the connection to HDMI2 but could not get a connection.

After some experimenting with settings, I believe my situation is a bit different than those with other replies on this thread. I tried changing the refresh (on the GCGTV) to 30Hz and it did not fix the problem. In my case I have the GCGTV plugged in...
