Just did this and it worked:Unlink apple in google homeSign out of apple musicRemove apple music appReboot my pixel Reinstall apple music --- dont log in yetLink apple music in google home applog back into apple music.Casting now works again

Same issue. Would be great if someone could look into this. guessing its a permission issue maybe
