My old thermostat had the blue wire in the "B" spot. Had Google in a
chat and they came back showing it goes in the "C" spot and that fixed
it. My "O/B" spot is currently empty and everything is working fine.
FYI...I just figured out my problem. If you have a complete electric
heating/cooling system, I had to put my "blue" wire on the "C" post on
the backing plate, NOT the O/B post. Works perfectly now! Good luck!!
