You say this is cloud streaming but if you use the Google home app on an
android tablet the video stream doesn't time out. Surely it uses the
same services?
Thanks for that information that's really useful. but it seems that
other people are experiencing shorter sessions of the live stream than
12 hours. Also it's odd that the Google support team haven't shared this
information to us already.
I would be keen to know what causes the issue to happen and what the
development team are doing to fix it? Transparency like this provides
confidence in the community.
Update. I have the nest out door cam and I left the cam streaming all
night on my nest hub gen 2 approx 7 hours. Went to check on the display
in the morning and it was still streaming. I don't have the preview mode

Does the video live stream also fail when watching it on other devices
such as mobile phones or tablets? I am also planning to use the nest
indoor cam and hub 2nd gen as a baby monitor. But if it's just the hub
that fails to stream over a long period...
