Chromecast gen2 won’t connect

I have changed to fiber internet and Kinetic is using a Nokia wifi device.my Chromecast will not connect to the 5Ghz high band Wi-Fi .is Chromecast Gen 2 compatible with 5Ghz high band Wi-Fi.It works on 5Ghz low band.
