The new not thing that worries me is the thermostat, is calling for the wifi to be setup. now will that have a negative impact on the battery life if we have the thermostat not connect for three months to wifi?

Hello and so kind of you to reply, we were looking after the grand kids last week. At any rate I will be following your directions. The home wifi will be cancelled for three months and wanted to make sure I didn’t do something wrong. Thanks
