I played with the power saving mode. If you turn off Power Saving Mode, and turn off limit CPU to 70% , but leave the other items checked, it works faster on my Galaxy S22+, without having much effect on battery life. Hopefully, Google will fix this ...

I'm having the same problem with Samsung Galaxy S22+. My old Galaxy S8 & an old Galaxy tablet works fine. Something changed in last update.
