Unfortunately, as mentioned I had the same issues, exact same wifi card.
It made no sense to retain a product that cost $200 dollars and
performed MUCH worse than a $70 router from 2015 (Archer C8 and C9 are
being compared).
I'm actually going to return this. Not only is the wifi connection speed
to my pc horrific, its also extremely poor with bufferbloat, being worse
than my old archer C9
