Have to ask... Why Lochness? My (former) family Castle sits in ruins on Lochness!

Tried inviting my wife in the Google Home App so she can also control our Nest Thermostat. Was told she had to have a gmail account, couldn't use her Comcast email... How xxxxxx up is that.
