Why isn't there a simple on/off switch in the Nest app to enable and disable the schedule? The workarounds I've seen are inconvenient. Please add this simple option!

I'm happy to report that the device reset worked and ambient mode settings are functional again! Joe

Ultimately I had to reset the Chromecast device, reinstall the Home app, and start fresh. I've done this on one device but haven't gotten to the second device yet. I'll let you know if the second one doesn't work.
