I took out the 16V 10VA transformer and replaced with a 16V 30VA Hampton
Bay transformer from Home Depot ($20) and that seems to have solved the

I just installed my Nest Gen2 yesterday (did not have any smart doorbell
previously) and having the same issue with what looks like the exact
same transformer.... If I remove the puck everything works fine
(including chime) but with puck installed me...
