I've not had problems with their hardware (admittedly, the only ones I
use came from Nest) but their software packages are garbage, especially
UX. I totally bailed out of Google Pay because it was so buggy and
intrusive and downright bad, and Home do...
Had problems with Home, also, and posted here. No help but I did get
told what to do (which is what I had already done that didn't work) and
then asked several times by "experts" to detail the problem. I did and
got back the same canned series of ine...
I installed the Google Home app (version 2.62.1.15) from the Google Play

not a preview/demo/beta.
