A doorbell without a door chime is simply not a doorbell IMHO. So I
broke down and bought a battery operated google doorbell (newest
version) just to try out and eliminate the theory of getting a new
transformer. Hook it up, attached the existing doo...
This afternoon it quit working again and having the same issues. It got
colder here so that could be the variable but it’s in the 30s nothing
too drastic
