No.I'm saying make sure to not disconnect the wire while trying to press
the reset button, also you need to put batteries back in while pressing
reset button. I think it's like 10 or 20 seconds until the factory reset
chimes happen.Good luck!
When you take the two screws out behind batteries, you can detach the
housing, there is a wire that connects through the door to the keypad if
your remember when you assembled and installed it (if you didn't install

Did you reset by taking batteries out and putting back in? Or did you
take batteries out hold reset button on back (while still plugged into
keypad) and out batteries back in while you wait for chimes and
resetting notification? I just had to do this...
