So frustrating! 

I’ve tried that, and the issue continues. I’ve given up on Google products like this. I bought an Apple home pod and having no issues with that. We have all spent money on a product that doesn’t work properly.

You’re probably right and Tune In is the problem. 

Still happening for me 

I have the same issue, it's streaming music on a radio station, I tell it to "Stop" and it does, but minutes later comes back on again. I unplugged my bedroom one because it comes on in the middle of the night sometimes!
